Staff notations about Jagger describe him as a bit shy and recommend people approach him slowly. Staff also describe that Jagger has done well interacting with other dogs and he’s also done well on walks.

Remember Milo?

Milo was the first dog highlighted in this weekly series. He had been at OC Animal Care for over a year, longer than any other dog currently in the shelter. Voice of OC highlighted him on July 19 — his one-year shelter anniversary.

Earlier this week, a shelter volunteer told Voice of OC that Milo found a home. He was adopted by a family with a large yard on Tuesday.

OC Animal Care, the county-run animal shelter in Tustin, is open daily for adoption visits from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

To schedule an adoption visit, call the main line at (714) 935-6848 and mention the animal ID number for any specific pet you might be interested in.

The shelter also offers viewing hours daily from 2 to 5 p.m., including weekends. During this time, visitors can freely walk through the kennel areas.
