East Bay pets of the week for Aug. 2
Hi, I’m Arnold! I’m a 4-year-old domestic shorthair with a flair for stealing hearts! My favorite activities include chin scratches, cozy cuddles and showing off my purr-fect purrs. I’m being treated for allergies at Berkeley Humane and will need continued care in my new home. Feel free to ask if you have any questions! Visit the website of the Berkeley-East Bay Humane Society at berkeleyhumane.org to learn more and schedule a meeting with me.

Buster Brown is a smile with a truly wonderful dog attached. Despite being at our shelter for more than a year, he still exudes happiness and gratitude any time he gets attention. Buster Brown loves affection, and if you adopt him, you will have someone who is loyal, loving and doting. He’ll also make you smile as much as he smiles. It’s contagious! This little beauty is Rose. She somehow ended up under some rose bushes in front of a store. She was alone and so scared but it still took the great Petco employees a couple of days to entice her into a trap. Her foster family has done a great job of showing Rose what life in a happy home can be like. Now she’s ready for your happy home. For more information about this or any other adoptable pets with the Contra Costa SPCA, call Pat at 925-323-0667.
