Adoptable pets from the Montville Animal Shelter

Each week, NorthJersey.com would like to highlight adoptable animals from local shelters and rescues.

This week we are featuring Annie and Beefcake from the Montville Animal Shelter.
Annie
Annie is a 4-year-old cat who can be described as friendly, affectionate, gentle, playful, loyal, smart, brave, curious, funny and athletic. To top it off, she loves kisses!
Annie has been at the shelter since March when she was surrendered because her owners were moving, and she has been an indoor cat her whole life. Since her arrival at the shelter, she has not had one inquiry.
She seems to get along with other cats but does not seem to like dogs.
Annie is spayed, microchipped, up to date with her vaccinations and parasite preventatives, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV.
If you would like to meet Annie, or some of the shelter’s other cats and kittens, the shelter will be open to the public between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m. and from 3 to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Weekend appointments are available for approved applicants for meet and greets.
The shelter asks that you fill out an application prior to coming in to speed up the process. If your application is approved, you will be able to adopt the same day. The Montville Animal Shelter does not adopt out of state, so New Jersey residents only please.

Beefcake
Beefcake is a 1-year-old pit bull terrier and American Staffordshire terrier mix who can be described as affectionate, athletic, brave, curious, friendly, funny, loyal and playful.
Beefcake is a happy go lucky pup who loves to play and explore and is always down for a good time. His bubbly personality is sure to bring a smile to your face. Whether you are going for a walk or playing fetch in the park, Beefcake is the perfect companion for any adventure.
Did I mention he is handsome too? When he gets excited his whole body wiggles.
Beefcake is dog friendly (no cats), knows sit, and is ready to find his forever home. He is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm/Lyme negative, and is up to date on parasite prevention.
